A festival is a gathering of people to celebrate something. Why do you enjoy festivals? They bring people together and create a sense of belonging in the community. On these days people from all walks of life come together to celebrate life. Festivals are an expressive way to celebrate glorious heritage, culture and traditions. They are meant to rejoice special moments and emotions in our lives with our loved ones. Children are particularly the ones who enjoy festivals more than adults. Festivals to them mean decorations, sweets, gifts, games and lots of other celebrations. So, We decided to celebrate the festival of colours “Holi” with the kids from slums. As happiness spreads positivity and cheers all around. We distributed delicious meal to the needy kids.Their smile and happiness was like a priceless treasure. We taught them to inculcate good habits and try to have nutritious diet everyday for their overall development.
