All donations made to City Aid Foundation are treated as voluntary contributions towards our charitable activities.
Once a donation is made successfully through our online payment gateway, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled, refunded, or transferred.
However, if a donor has made an error in the donation amount or provided incorrect details, they may reach out to us within 7 working days of the transaction.
Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:
Duplicate donation was made due to technical error.
Incorrect amount was entered during the donation process.
Bank/Payment gateway error leading to unintended transaction.
In such cases, donors are required to send a written request to City Aid Foundation with:
Transaction ID
Donation amount
Date of donation
Proof of transaction
Our team will verify the details and initiate the refund (if applicable) within 10–15 working days, subject to bank/payment gateway processing timelines.
If a refund is approved after the issuance of a donation receipt / 80G certificate, donors must return the original certificate to the Foundation before the refund can be processed.
